Jamie Colby

Colby is a National News Correspondent, and anchor for Fox News. He has been employed by the company since July of 2003. Prior to being hired by FOX News Channel, Colby was a reporter at CNN and worked as an anchor and reporter for CBS News which included anchor fill-in for CBS's Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby holds a law degree in law from the University California and is licensed to practice in New York, California Florida, as well as District of Columbia. She has won awards such like The Edward R. Murrow National Award in 2002 for her reporting on the September 11 attack; the Gracie Award for investigative reporting in 2000, and the Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News-Show Stars to Watch". Colby had a background as an attorney who, along with her professional career as a journalist for 10 years in private practice. Colby's law firm began when an Hollywood production company assigned her The Tonight Show. She was 22 when she joined the show. Colby was a reporter as well as host for Johnny Carson, both during the contract renewal of NBC with him and his divorce.
